Quality and Compliance
Community Dental Services deliver safe and high quality care and we measure our effectiveness through:
Meeting clinical governance standards
This is a set of systems that enable health organisations to deliver a quality service. There are seven pillars of Clinical Governance; patient and public involvement, clinical effectiveness and research, clinical audit, clinical risk management, staffing and staff management, education, training and development & use of information and IT.
Registration with the Quality in Dental Services (QIDS)
This is a quality accreditation scheme which assesses our service against nationally recognised good practice requirements. CDS has been awarded membership to this scheme.
Ensuring we are compliant with Care Quality Commission guidance and standards for dental practices
