Following 10 years in industry, Ken joined the NHS in 1973 to manage major capital projects, including the redevelopment of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He moved into hospital management and at various times managed Central Middlesex, St Mary’s and Bedford Hospitals.
Ken’s particular interest is clinical service innovation and development. He has a keen interest in education and serves as an Academy Governor/Director. He’s also involved in two local charities, The Friends of the Child Development Centre in Kempston and the Bedford Hospitals Charity.
