CDS is celebrating two national award wins!
The SEUK Awards celebrate excellence in the social enterprise sector. This year, CDS has won the new category of Employee Engagement. This award recognises all the hard work we have all done, through our Representative Employee Group, the Board and shared local leadership to embed employee ownership across CDS and the impact this is having on our patients and wider communities.
In the Employee Ownership Association, we were the winners in another new category, Public Service Mutual Business of the Year. This award celebrates the achievements of mutuals like CDS in terms of delivering excellent public services and real social impact to the people and communities we support. CDS is hoping to work with the EOA to use the year to raise the profile of tooth decay in rural and deprived communities and we are setting up a link for companies to donate to CDS to support this work.
Both awards were fiercely contested by businesses representing many different sectors from across the UK, and it is a great achievement to be recognised for the second year running in two prestigious national award schemes. Demonstrating our social mission to improve oral health for more people and in evermore communities has been key to both award wins, along with many compelling patient testimonials.
