Dental Anxiety

What services do you offer?

Fear of dental treatment is common and can stop someone from seeking dental care.

If you have a low level of anxiety some simple methods work such as building a rapport with your dentist and feeling that you are being listened to. You may find that it helps to have a stop signal which you can use to let the dentist know when you would like to take a break, or distraction with music through headphones which can be brought in.

Relaxation techniques can work very well and your dentist will be able to help you with these.

If you have a much higher level of anxiety your dentist may feel you would benefit from treatment under sedation or general anaesthesia and this will be discussed with you.
