Dental Anxiety

What services do you offer?

Fear of dental treatment is common and can stop someone from seeking dental care.

If you have a low level of anxiety some simple methods work such as building a rapport with your dentist and feeling that you are being listened to. You may find that it helps to have a stop signal which you can use to let the dentist know when you would like to take a break, or distraction with music through headphones which can be brought in.

Relaxation techniques can work very well and your dentist will be able to help you with these.

If you have a much higher level of anxiety your dentist may feel you would benefit from treatment under sedation or general anaesthesia and this will be discussed with you.

We have the Time

Dental anxiety is a common problem that can be treated.   We will help and guide you, as we know that the dental treatment may take longer to complete and managing the anxiety often takes time but that's fine with us.  We will take the time you need.

Do you accept referrals?
